Welcome to my Obsidian Page for the ongoing adventure and playtest of D&D Next

Greetings and thanks for stopping by. It’s been quite some time since I last had the chance to browse around on Obsidian, especially after we concluded my Carrion Crown campaign a long time ago. Yet, I have been keeping myself busy, mostly through the playtesting of the newest installment in the magnificent D&D regime. And so, after a couple of sessions, I decided to make a blog out of it.

You can either follow me in here or go to my personal blog on blogspot Both pages should contain some of the same stuff, but if you want to read about my Carrion Crown, Skull and Shackles or Savage Tide campaigns you can find them there too.

How this blog works:

In the “Adventure Log” I’ll post the grand tales of the adventuring heroes who set out to liberate Cormyr of its troubles. At the same time, I’ll post general impressions and opinions about the changes being made as 5th ed. is updated. I haven’t been along from the start – in fact, far from it. So take my opinion for what it is.

The very first post of the adventure is a general review of the 5th ed. as it is per 12-08-2013 with more to come. Then we’ll kick off with the adventure, which is mainly a mix between homewritten and elements taken from the adventures delivered with the playtest package. I have absolutely no shame modifying, changing and tingering with the lore of the realms or the adventures, since this is first and foremost a playtest of the rules.

I hope you will enjoy it!
